Course overview

Taught personally by internationally renowned orthodontist Dr. Chris Chang for more than 20 years, this master program is the signature course series of Yong Chieh and AMS (Arcline the Master Series). The 2027 Comprehensive Master Program is fully redesigned: ten Thursday modules that continue complete training in Damon™ fixed appliances (Modules 1–7) and, for the first time, add Spark™ Clear Aligners (Modules 8–10).

Each module is case-driven, moving from diagnosis and analysis to treatment planning and execution. Video review, computer-based training and teaching assistants help participants get up to speed quickly.

Seats are limited. This is the one chance each year to take Dr. Chris Chang’s complete master program in Taiwan.

About Dr. Chris Chang

PhD in Bone Physiology and Certificate in Orthodontics, Indiana University

Dr. Chris Chang earned his PhD in Bone Physiology and his Certificate in Orthodontics from Indiana University in 1996. Since 2006 he has worked across clinical practice, education and publishing, and he has trained more than 2,000 doctors from 21 countries.

He is known for turning complex theory into clear diagrams and engaging lectures, and has been invited to speak at the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) annual session for many years. In 2019 he received the AAO CDABO Case Report of the Year Award, the first Chinese orthodontist to do so. In 2025 he received the AAO John Valentine Mershon Award and delivered the Mershon lecture, the first orthodontist from Asia to receive it.

Dr. Chang also developed complete video courses and the Beethoven Dental Encyclopedia app, has published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (AJODO), serves as publisher of the Journal of Digital Orthodontics, and wrote the Orthodontics textbook series (Vols. 1–6).
