hosted by TAO and WIOC, sponsored by the AMS team of Yong Chieh

A full-day clinical course presenting a Spark™ aligner method you can apply directly in practice. Through many fully documented cases, it shows how to combine CBCT-assisted diagnosis, sound biomechanics and strategic digital planning to reach more efficient, controlled and predictable results in Class I, II and III, deep bite and open bite cases.

The course focuses on staging, anchorage management, vertical control, torque expression, attachment design and IPR; anticipating tracking loss to reduce unnecessary refinements; and hybrid Spark™ + Damon Ultima™ strategies. The goal is to move beyond software-driven treatment and put the orthodontist back at the center of planning.

Learning objectives

  • Build an individualized treatment workflow based on malocclusion, periodontal phenotype, skeletal pattern and biological limits
  • Apply biomechanics to torque control, rotation, expansion, distalization, intrusion, extrusion and space closure
  • Understand how staging and sequencing affect predictability and clinical efficiency
  • Optimize attachments, elastics, bite ramps, IPR and other Spark™ auxiliaries
  • Recognize the common causes of tracking loss, unwanted movements and repeated refinements, and prevent them
  • Give the digital planning team clearer, more precise clinical instructions
